We recently had the pleasure of working with Bri of designlovefest and Angela of Angela + Ithyle at the latest stop on their BLOGSHOP tour. It was so much fun creating a unique and inspired menu for this creative bunch. Day 1 started out with the Urban Palate take on a bento box. We served our delicious Asian inspired menu in gorgeous bento boxes from Takenaka. Day 2 was our version of a (not-so) traditional box lunch which included custom made Urban Palate for BLOGSHOP packaging. So great to spend a few days with this amazing group! Bento Box: grilled maple wasabi chicken, plum balsamic, crispy yams over farro, maitake collard greens, shishito pepper, currant, shaved pecorino. Heirloom radish salad, kohlrabi, asian pear, persian cucumber, micro mizuna, buckwheat miso vinaigrette. French macaron.
Box Lunch: prosciutto, apricot mostarda, tallegio, pretzel ficelle. Homemade lemon thyme potato chips. israeli cous cous with dill pesto, grilled asparagus, baby carrot, english peas. White and yellow nectarine, blackberry, clover honey, fresh spearmint. Custom made hard candies.
